After working with individuals for many years in my coaching practice, 90% of those people where experiencing work or school related illness/stress, resulting in time off and poor mental health. Therefore this has a knock on effect on either the companies overall performance, the revenue lost from sick days, the schools attendance but most importantly that individuals wellbeing.  Employees and students are at the heart of your business/school and providing them with the right support will reduce stress and improve working/learning environment for all.

Wellbeing and mental health are far more at the forefront of people’s minds these days, we have much more awareness and resources available but I still feel we can do more. As a wellness professional, I wholeheartedly support the growing trend of incorporating wellness workshops into both business and educational settings. Research has shown time and time again the immense benefits of prioritising mental health and emotional regulation in the workplace and classroom, and I am thrilled to see more organisations embracing these concepts. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

The workshops offered by Jen, a seasoned wellness industry professional with over 20 years of experience, are uniquely engaging and effective in promoting holistic wellness practices. Through a focus on the mind/body connection, participants will learn tangible skills to regulate their emotions and promote positive mental health. Additionally, the inclusion of spiritual approaches in the workshops allows for a deeper, more meaningful level of engagement with the material. 

Unlike run-of-the-mill  workshops, Jen’s sessions are fun, interactive and tailored to the specific needs of each individual group. Attendees will be provided with handouts and e-books to support their ongoing journey long after the workshops has ended. 

As well as coach, Jen hosts spiritual retreats,  has a wellbeing radio show as the resident therapist for In2beats FM, providing the listeners with practical support to improve their lives. Jen is the co-author of ‘Love your body’, ‘Your Wellbeing’ and ‘Words of the Wise’. Jen writes and talks about her own experiences with mental health as well as providing a professional insight.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

A workshop talk about understanding mental health in the workplace. How you can improve wellbeing of your team for productivity, creativity and increased revenue. This encourages each attendee to be more compassionate with themselves and others. Mental health is nothing to feel ashamed about, the more we talk, the more included people feel. 

MANAGING EMOTIONS & ANXIETY TO CREATE MORE CONFIDENCE

This workshop I teach all about the mind/body connection, emotional regulation, what anxiety really is and why you can’t just talk yourself out of it. This will help attendees manage emotions, communicate more effectively, building team rapport. This interactive workshop will encourage participants to connect with their body, understand limited beliefs and create more confidence in their abilities. 

BREATH WORK & MEDITATION

How breath work and meditation can improve  mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. Attendees will learn breath work techniques and guided meditation. Participants will feel more connected and relaxed, helping to manage stress and demands of the working or school environment.
